Dates

The Build Beyond Hackathon will run across a defined building and submission period. Participants will have time to understand the challenge, form their teams, develop their ideas, test their products, and prepare their final submissions. All projects must be submitted before the official submission deadline. Detailed dates for registration, building, submission, judging, and winner announcements will be shared by the organizers.

Eligibility

The hackathon is open to builders, students, developers, designers, founders, and technology enthusiasts who are interested in creating meaningful solutions. Participants can take part individually or as part of a team. You do not need to be an expert in a particular technology to participate. What matters most is your ability to identify a meaningful problem, build a solution, and demonstrate what you have created.

Participants are encouraged to bring different skills to their teams, including engineering, product, design, research, business, and community building. Teams should ensure that all members actively contribute to the project.

Project and Submission Requirements

Participants are expected to build a working project that addresses a meaningful problem and demonstrates a clear use of technology. Projects can be built using any suitable technology, framework, platform, or development approach unless otherwise specified for a particular challenge.

Your submission should clearly explain the problem you are solving, the solution you have built, the technology and tools used, and the potential impact of your project. Participants should also provide a working demonstration of their product along with any relevant documentation required by the organizers.

Projects should demonstrate meaningful development during the hackathon period. Simply submitting an existing project without significant work or improvements during the hackathon may not meet the submission requirements.

Prizes

Outstanding projects will have the opportunity to receive prizes, recognition, and additional opportunities from the Build Beyond Hackathon.

Prizes may include cash awards, technology credits, software subscriptions, partner benefits, mentorship opportunities, community recognition, and opportunities to showcase your project to a wider audience.

The complete prize pool, category wise prizes, and partner benefits will be announced by the organizers. In addition to prizes, selected builders may gain opportunities to connect with mentors, communities, companies, and other builders working on ambitious ideas.

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

Projects will be evaluated based on the quality of the problem being addressed, the effectiveness of the solution, technical execution, originality, user experience, potential impact, and how far the team has taken the idea beyond a basic prototype.
